Getting Back on Track

Purpose is a powerful thing in our lives. I guess you just don’t realize you need it until you begin to find it again. I believe there are seasons when we are in the process of shifting purpose and those seasons are when we feel like we are floating from one thing to another and are having trouble focusing on any one purpose. In Psalm 6 David was having vision frustration, vs 7 “My vision is blurred by grief;”. Life sometimes blurs our vision. Circumstances blur vision. Hard times get us off course and yet hard times also bring us back to what God’s vision and purpose is when we have gotten off course. If you find yourself with “blurred vision” or just without purpose there is only one thing you can do and that is begin to seek the Lord with all your heart and soul! When you begin walking in His purpose and vision for your life your energy and joy and life itself begin to return.

I Cor 9:26 says “So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing.” I love that. You begin to feel like your life isn’t wasted or your energy being used up but every step is with purpose. Let the distractions in life bring you to your knees and run this race with Jesus as your coach! Keep seeking because His promise is that you WILL find Him!!!
