About Me

I love life and have never had difficulty with change.  But in this season (after 60) it seems like adjusting to so many new things has caught me off guard.  I really don’t know if you can prepare yourself for this season of life because so many changes come your way that you don’t expect to be a challenge.

Coming home from the airport one day, I heard these words spoken to me just as clearly as if the person I had left at the curb was still sitting next to me; “Embrace Life’s Seasons.”

I began to think about that phrase and what it means to me.  It means to face head on each of life’s challenges by accepting them enthusiastically while seeing the good God brings me as I walk through them.  By accepting and not running or hiding from these changes, I can then advance with my eyes wide open toward all that God has planned for me.

In this blog I will attempt to document my journey as I navigate this new season of life.   It’s always nice to know someone else is experiencing the same things you are.

I believe the best is yet to come!!!

  1. I’ve been following The Tribe of Many on YouTube, and I’ve seen glimpses of your story. In this time, I need to hear these stories of faith and adoration of God, the One who never changes, even though our circumstances do. God bless you. Please keep writing. Your words have been a godsend.

  3. I heard you to talk about your blog on yesterday’s video, so I am now subscribed and I’m looking forward to reading it. I also just ordered your mom’s book and I subscribed to your husband’s channel. He’s a hoot! I absolutely adore your family.

  4. I had a dream of what I would
    do after retirement.
Well the year of retirement I
had a heart problem early in the year 2017. My retirement was to be
    September 2017. I retired in
April 2017. Life is so different
now. I’m a little lost and finding
my way as I navigate covid 19.
Covid 19 changed so much that
If I had plans they would never
take place now. I will learn to
find my way out of this maze
like starting a new job, if that make sence. Wish me luck.
When I see one set of foot prints
I will know God is carrying me
and helping me to navigate. I’m
    blessed to have this time.
    Thanks for sharing and
God bless you and your family.

    1. Covid did change so much for people. For me it has drawn me closer to the Lord and has made me trust Him more than ever. He has a plan for each of us….especially when our plans change😁
