The Papa’s Kitchen
Everyone who has followed me for the last 10 years may have noticed some recent changes to my blog. My husband has joined me!!
Jerry started cooking about six years ago. At first, I thought it might be a faze but he enjoyed it so much that he is now planning our menus and grocery shopping and all the other things it takes to be the chef of our home.
For the last three years, our family has been encouraging us to start a Youtube channel featuring my husband, Jerry (aka “The Papa”). I would do the filming ( which has been a huge learning curve for me) and add enough conversation to keep things somewhat entertaining. After much thought and consideration, we decided to launch our first video last Wednesday (April 27, 2022). Much to our surprise, it has been met with a lot of interest and enthusiasm!
We decided to post all the recipes from his cooking show on my blog. I have added a Navigation box where you can find The Papa’s Kitchen Youtube link and also a link to all the recipes.
We wouldn’t be able to do this without our granddaughter, Isabelle, agreeing to do the editing (she is amazing) and also our kids who have featured The Papa on their channels and had so much faith in us from the start.
A big thanks to everyone who has the courage to subscribe to our channel and who has left such encouraging comments. We are having a great time and are excited to see what the future brings.
God Bless you both. XOXOXO

This is the only place I see to leave a comment so sorry if this is out of context. I have tried to print y’alls recipes but the black background in my opinion wastes a ton of ink! So I screen shot the page for the recipes.

Here…I copied it for you.
Gingersnaps: Combine 3/4 cup shortening, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup molasses, and 1 egg till fluffy. Sift together 2 1/4 cups flour, 2 teaspoons soda, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves, stir into the molasses mixture. Form in small balls. Roll in granulated sugar, place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen.
